website, Tayana, started off as an online giftware store for busy people in September 2007. It has evolved since then into the essential time-saving resource for time poor professional women, catering predominantly to their non-professional lives.
As a busy professional in my own right, I realised there is a need to create a website for busy, stylish, classy and confident women who want the good things in life. We don’t necessarily follow fads or the celebrities, we are real women, we are selective in our choices and will not compromise on quality. We want to feel good and know what we want and like.
Another need for me was to discover how other professional women are achieving work/life balance in their lives. So I’ve decided to interview, on a monthly basis, some inspirational and successful professional women so they can share their secrets in our monthly newsletter.
I have always been passionate about being creative and am always making something so to take this passion further Tayana will profile a number of up and coming Australian designers, inspiring people, innovative designs and products, giving you access to individual, feminine, timeless and original ideas and products.
Personal recommendations are such a time saver and one of my pet hates is going to the book store and standing there for ages trying to work out what book I should get. This prompted me to start a monthly book review with great suggestions for those long flights and layovers.
To keep all the balls in the air, a busy woman needs to look after herself! You will find tips on how to relax and unwind after a long stressful day, colour and style tips from our image consultant, various health and wellbeing questions answered and lots more at Tayana.
